Placement Support Year 3
This is the final year practice module where students will demonstrate application of the knowledge and understanding they have gained throughout their program of studies. They will be exposed to both ambulance and non-ambulance clinical settings to ensure they have the knowledge, skills and professional attributes of a new entrant to the professional register.

Ambulance Placement
This section of the final-year practice module focuses on ambulance placement outcome sign-offs. Students will undertake ambulance placements to demonstrate the application of knowledge, understanding, and skills gained throughout their program. Through immersive experiences in ambulance clinical settings, students will develop and exhibit the professional attributes essential for entry to the professional register, preparing them as competent new entrants to the profession.
Non-Ambulance Placement
This section of the final-year practice module focuses on non-ambulance placement outcome sign-offs, where students demonstrate the application of knowledge, skills, and professional attributes required for entry to the professional register in non-ambulance clinical settings. This placement tab includes sections for tracking progress in non-ambulance-related sign-offs, followed by the ongoing ambulance placement outcome sign-offs.

- Primary Care
- Theatres
- Community Care/Mental Health
- Maternity/Delivery Suite
Portfolio requirement – Year 3
The clinical skills demonstrated on placement all need to be observed and ticked at a minimum of Safe & Effective (SE) in year 3 by the Practice Educator. See table below.
