There are many ways in which we can offer support to our students at DMU, please have a browse below of the options if you need assistance in signposting your student to the most appropriate support for their needs.
Healthy DMU is a hub used to support our students health and wellbeing, the hub will provide you with assistance in booking appointments with some of the services we offer, there are also tips on staying well with your mental and physical health.

Single Point of Access
Students can book appointments with Sings Point of Access (SPA) if they wish to discuss aspects of their health and wellbeing with the university, there are 45 min appointments which are bookable with their MyGateway accounts.
No Space for Hate
No Space for Hate is a new service provided by the university that supports students in dealing with incidents of hate and/or harassment. The tool can be used for anonymous reporting of incidents or for support with wellbeing, reporting options and academic support.
Substance Support Clinic
Should your student need support with substance misuse, or advice regarding drugs/alcohol for themselves or a family member they can access Turning Point via the university, there are support sessions each week.
